Review Call Recordings and AI Analysis

Transcribe staff conversations, run AI analysis, and use the score and coaching feedback to improve your team.

By Red Belt Team | Last Update: October 24, 2026

The Recordings page keeps your staff's recorded conversations, such as intro lessons and sales calls. Red Belt Gym can turn each recording into a written transcript, then give it an AI performance score with coaching notes, so you can see what's working and where your team can improve.

Find a Recording

  1. On your computer, go to your Account.
  2. Click Recordings in the left-side menu.
  3. Use Search recording title or contact to find a recording, or narrow the list with the date range, Type, Sub-type, Recorded by, Transcript and AI score filters. The recording search box and filters

Important: The analysis runs only once. The result becomes the permanent analysis for the recording and can't be run again, so check that the right staff member is listed first. Your AI provider may charge for the analysis.

Step 3: Read the Results

  1. The score card shows the overall score from 1.0 Very poor to 5.0 Exceptional, with a label such as Poor or Acceptable. It also shows the interaction type and the staff member evaluated. The score also appears on the recording's card.
  2. Read the Overall assessment for a short summary of the conversation.
  3. Review What went well and Areas for improvement. These list what the staff member did well and what they missed.
  4. Read the numbered Coaching feedback. Each item is a specific tip the staff member can use in their next conversation. The numbered Coaching feedback section

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

Why don't I see an AI score on a recording?

The recording needs a transcript first. Click Transcribe, then Run AI Analysis. If the analysis still doesn't run, check that an AI provider is connected in Setup › AI Setup.

How many credits does transcribing use?

1 credit for up to 1 minute of recording. For example, a recording of about 7 minutes uses 7 credits. The window shows the estimate and your balance before you confirm. See our article on viewing credit usage.

Can I run the AI analysis again?

No. The analysis runs once per recording, and the result is permanent.

How is the score decided?

The AI compares the conversation to the goals for its interaction type, such as a sales or enrollment conversation, using your grading standard. It explains its score in the assessment and coaching feedback.

The transcript has some odd words in it. Is that normal?

Yes. Background noise, people talking over each other, and class sounds can make some lines hard to transcribe. The AI analysis looks at the whole conversation, so a few odd words won't change the result much.

Can I download a recording?

Yes. Open the recording and click Download.

Where can I see a contact's recordings?

Open the contact's profile and click the Recordings tab.
