Transcription turns your recorded calls and in-person conversations into text. AI Performance Analysis then scores each staff conversation and writes coaching notes, which helps your team improve their sales conversations. On the Transcription page you choose what happens automatically for each type of recording. Anything you leave off can still be started by hand from the recording.
What it costs
- Transcription uses Red Belt transcription credits: 1 credit = up to 1 minute of transcription, billed the same way as phone calls.
- AI Performance Analysis uses the AI provider your gym connected in Setup › AI Setup, so charges from that provider may apply. Each recording is analyzed once.
Open Transcription Settings
- On your computer, go to your Account.
- Click Setup in the left-side menu.

- Under Communication, click Transcription.

- Make sure the Transcription switch at the top is turned on.

Choose What Runs Automatically
Each recording type has its own settings:
- Call recordings: browser, phone and forwarded calls.
- In-person recordings: audio and video recorded in the Staff App.
- Memories: recordings that aren't staff conversations. These can be transcribed, but AI Performance Analysis isn't available for them.

- Turn on Auto-transcribe to transcribe every new recording of that type automatically.
- Turn on Auto AI Performance Analysis to score every new transcribed recording of that type automatically.

Recognize Staff Voices (Optional)
Turn on Recognize staff voices to label transcripts with the right staff member's name. Red Belt Gym stores a voice signature for each staff member and uses it only for labeling. When it's off, speakers are labeled from the call itself (staff or contact) or as "Speaker 1, 2…". Turning it off deletes every stored signature.

Connect Your AI Provider
AI Performance Analysis uses the provider connected in Setup › AI Setup. Click Open AI setup to connect or change it. See our article on setting up the AI Command Center.
