Set Up the AI Command Center

Connect an AI provider key and choose which model handles each job, so you can ask Red Belt Gym for records, reports and actions in plain language.

By Red Belt Team | Last Update: October 24, 2026

The AI Command Center and AI Performance Analysis run on an AI provider account that your gym supplies. On the AI setup page you add your provider's API key, then choose which key and model each job uses. Usage is billed by the provider directly to you, and staff never see the keys.

Red Belt Gym currently works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and OpenRouter.

Note: Only the gym owner can manage AI setup. Staff users who open AI Setup see the message "Only the gym owner can manage AI setup."

Each connected key shows its provider, name, connection status, the date it was last tested, and what it can do (for example, Text).

  • Click Test to check that the key still works.
  • Click Replace key to paste a new key from the same provider.
  • Click Disconnect to remove the key. Any job using it stops working until you choose another key.

  1. For each job, choose a key from the Provider · Key menu.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

What can I ask the AI Command Center to do?

Ask in plain language, the way you would ask any other AI assistant. For example, "Show me all active students who haven't attended in the last 30 days" or "How many leads did we get last month compared with the month before?" See our article on using the AI Command Center.

Do I need my own API key?

Yes. The AI Command Center runs on your key, not one supplied by Red Belt Software. Billing and usage sit between you and the provider the key belongs to. Keep your key secret. Red Belt Software will never ask you for it. If someone claiming to be from Red Belt Software asks for it, don't send it; forward the message to [email protected].

Can different jobs use different providers?

Yes. Every job has its own Provider · Key and Model menus. Add each key once in Step 1 and select it per job in Step 2.

My key was rejected. What should I check?

Check that the whole key was pasted with no leading or trailing spaces, that the provider selected matches the provider the key came from, and that the key hasn't been deleted or revoked in your provider account. Then click Test.

The Model menu is empty.

A key has to exist before models can be listed for it. Add the key in Step 1, select it in the Provider · Key menu for that job, then choose the model.

I asked for something and nothing happened.

Check that the job shows Ready and that you clicked Save configuration.

Can the AI Command Center change my data without asking?

No. Reading and analyzing happen immediately, but anything that would change Red Belt Gym is proposed to you first and needs your explicit approval before it runs.
