AI phone calls are off until your school turns them on. It takes two steps: connect an AI key that can handle voice, then tell a call configuration to let the AI answer. Until both steps are done, calls keep ringing your staff exactly as they do today.
Note: Only the gym owner can manage AI Setup and Communication Setup. These settings affect your whole school.
Step 1: Choose the AI for Calls
- Visit redbeltgym.com.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click Setup in the left-side menu.
- Under Apps & integrations, click AI Setup.

- Find AI calls under 2 · Choose the AI for each job. It needs a key that can do Voice.

- If you don't have a voice key yet, click + Add a key and add one. For example, Google Gemini keys can do Text, Voice and Video. See our article on setting up the AI Command Center for the full steps.

- In the AI calls row, choose the key under Provider · Key, then choose a Model.
- Click Save configuration.
Step 2: Let the AI Answer Calls
- Click Setup in the left-side menu, then under Communication, click Communication Setup.

- On the Configurations card, click Add configuration (or open an existing call configuration to edit it).

- Enter a Configuration name and pick the days and times under Schedule. See our article on managing phone numbers and call settings.
- Under Call handling, choose AI receives calls.
- Under When should the AI answer?, choose:
- Right away: the AI picks up on the first ring.
- If no one picks up: calls ring your team first, then the AI takes over. Use AI answers after to set how many rings (1 to 10). The page shows about how many seconds that is.
- Optional: under Before the AI answers, turn on Play a greeting first or Forward to a number. A greeting isn't available when the AI answers right away, because the AI greets callers itself, and forwarding isn't available with If no one picks up.
- Check What callers experience on the right to see the call flow.

- Click Save configuration.
