Coach the Conversation You Actually Had

Red Belt Gym transcribes your calls and intro lessons, scores each one, and writes the coaching notes — so your next one-on-one starts with the words that were said, not with what anyone remembers.

The Problem

The Problem: Nobody Hears the Call That Lost the Student

Whether you run a BJJ academy, MMA gym, karate dojo, or Muay Thai school, you're probably dealing with:

You never hear how the intro actually went

Coaching runs on memory, not on evidence

Trials walk out and nobody knows why

New staff take months to get good on the phone

Why it matters

The gap between your best closer and your newest instructor is a handful of habits — and until someone hears the calls, nobody can name them.

The Red Belt Gym Solution

Evidence, Then Coaching, Then Numbers

The transcript tab of a recording, with each line attributed and timed
01

Every conversation becomes something you can read

Transcripts of calls and in-person recordings.

Click Transcribe on a recording and Red Belt Gym turns it into text, line by line, with who spoke and where in the recording they said it. Staff the system can match to a contact are named; other voices show as Speaker 1, Speaker 2 and so on. Transcription uses Red Belt credits at one credit per minute, and the window shows the estimate and your balance before you confirm.

The overall assessment with what went well and areas for improvement
02

A score with its reasons attached

1.0 to 5.0, and why.

AI Performance Analysis grades the conversation against the goals of its interaction type, such as sales and enrollment or a follow-up, using your grading standard. You get an overall assessment in plain words, then What went well and Areas for improvement: what the staff member did and what they missed. The score sits on the recording card, so you can see at a glance which conversations are worth listening to.

Numbered coaching feedback and the key moments list with time stamps
03

Coaching notes, and the moment to play back

Specific tips, and the timestamp that proves them.

Each analysis ends with numbered coaching feedback: concrete things to do differently in the next conversation, not general advice. Below it, Key moments lists the points that mattered, and clicking a time stamp jumps the recording there. That turns a one-on-one from "I think you talked over her" into playing the twelve seconds where it happened.

The summary cards, the performance over time chart and average score by interaction type
04

The whole team, not one call at a time

The AI Performance Report.

Every analysis feeds one report: the team average, how many interactions were graded, performance over time by week or month, and average score by interaction type. A staff table shows each person’s average, how many were graded, their trend, their strongest interaction type, the type that needs the most coaching, and when they were last analyzed. Filter by staff, period, interaction type and source, and export the lot to CSV.

The recurring patterns section with the find recurring patterns button
05

The habits behind the scores

Recurring patterns per staff member.

Open a staff member and their scores sit beside the team average. Click Find recurring patterns and the AI reads across all of their analyzed conversations to list recurring strengths and recurring coaching opportunities. One weak call is noise; the same gap in nine calls is a training plan. The result is saved, so looking at it again costs nothing.

Transcription settings for each recording type
06

Set it once and stop remembering to do it

Auto-transcribe and auto-analysis, per recording type.

Call recordings, in-person recordings from the staff app and memories each have their own settings. Enable Auto-transcribe to transcribe every new recording of that type, and Auto AI Performance Analysis to score every new transcript. Anything you leave disabled can still be run by hand from the recording, so you can start with just your sales calls and widen it later.

You decide what gets analyzed

Nothing is transcribed or scored until you enable it, and you choose which recording types it applies to. Leave auto-analysis off and every analysis stays a deliberate click on a single recording. The score is a coaching tool for your team, built from your own grading standard — it is not a league table anyone else sees.

Common Questions About AI Sales Coaching

What plan do I need to access this feature?
You need the Growth plan to access AI Sales Coaching or any AI-related tools within Red Belt Gym. Request an upgrade.
What does transcription cost?
Transcription uses Red Belt credits at one credit for up to a minute of recording, billed the same way as phone calls. A seven-minute call is seven credits, and the window shows the estimate and your balance before you confirm.
What does the AI analysis cost?
The analysis runs on the AI provider your school connected in AI Setup, so any charges come from that provider, directly to you. There is no markup from us.
Can I run the analysis again on the same call?
No. Each recording is analyzed once and the result is permanent, so check the right staff member is listed before you run it.
Does this work on in-person conversations, not just calls?
Yes. Audio and video recorded in the staff app are transcribed and scored the same way, which is how intro lessons and mat-side enrollment conversations get covered.
How does the AI decide a score?
It compares the conversation to the goals for its interaction type — a sales and enrollment conversation is judged differently from a follow-up — using your grading standard, and it explains the score in the assessment and coaching feedback. If the interaction type is not set, it works it out from the conversation.
The transcript has a few odd words in it. Is that a problem?
No. Background noise, people talking over each other and class sounds make some lines hard to transcribe. The analysis reads the whole conversation, so a few odd words do not move the result.
Does everything get scored?
Staff conversations do. Recordings you file as memories can be transcribed but are not put through performance analysis, because they are not sales conversations.
